Partner Testimony

“Employment Plus UK are a fantastic example of the role the third sector can play at the forefront of welfare delivery under the Work Programme. Through a strong governance structure that ensures they have the required focus needed to run a successful operation, whilst also drawing on the wider, strong values of the Salvation Army, the team at Employment Plus have been a pleasure to work with.

In my view, they have successfully made the transition from being a specialist provider into an end-to-end provider and this is reflected in month-on-month performance improvements. Always focused on going the extra mile for the hardest-to-help, their proactive, practical and can-do approach is resulting in a successful model that has transitioned some of our hardest to help customers into sustainable employment. We have also been impressed by their wider engagement with our other supply chain partners through our best practice forums and monthly meetings.”

Chris Peel, MD, JobFit

“We believe you can only help people move forward if you win their trust and come from a place of unconditional positive regard. Nobody does this better than The Salvation Army. Their Mission and Values are an essential ingredient for helping people who are struggling from learned helplessness and dependency. I am very happy knowing GOALS is being delivered with TLC.”
